I get out of bed figuratively for writing that makes things better literally. My ideal project addresses how complex situations work and why people should care. If you need colorful copy, process documentation, or irreverent branding, I’ve got words with your name on them. (But heads up, my ethics and nerdy bad boy humor show up to every job and refuse to wait in the lobby.)

After fleeing academia, working as a mechanic, surviving social justice work, and dallying in the design industry, my work spans a constellation of subjects and styles. The through line? A passion for distilling nuanced information into something useful, interesting, and motivating. Today, you can find me jumping between industry interviews, grant writing, and passionate screeds on responsible product design.
